Answers About MintCare+

What's the difference between the included warranty and MintCare+?
The included 1-year warranty covers the phone failing on its own: a defect in the battery, cameras, charging or screen. MintCare+ covers accidents you cause: drops, cracked screens and liquid damage. Every phone comes with an included warranty. MintCare+ is a $40 add-on on top.
How much does a claim cost?
A repair is a flat $75, no matter the damage. If the phone can't be repaired economically, we replace it for $150. Those are the only fees, on top of the one-time $40 for the plan.
When can I add MintCare+?
Add it when you buy your phone, or within 30 days of your purchase. After that the window closes, so it's best added at checkout.
How long am I covered?
One full year from the day you buy the phone, running alongside your included warranty.
Does it cover a lost or stolen phone?
No. MintCare+ covers accidental damage to the phone you still have. Loss and theft are not included.
Where do I get it repaired?
